LSAT Prep
With median LSAT scores on the rise in T14 law schools, LSAT prep is becoming increasingly important. A key resource CPLS offers to its members is LSAT prep through partner organizations like Kaplan and 7Sage. These organizations introduce members to the LSAT, explain how to best study for it, and offer affordable--usually discounted--study plans to members.
CPLS-CLS Mentorship Program
Each year, the Columbia Pre-Law Society works with law students at Columbia Law School to offer undergraduates the opportunity to learn from and connect with current law school students. The mentorship program gives members a mentor with whom they can learn more about law school admissions, law school classes, and career opportunities for aspiring lawyers.
Law School Admissions Workshop
Preparing for law school can be daunting and stressful. CPLS's law school admissions workshop help break down the process and give guidance to members, regardless of where they are in the process. The workshop goes over school types, the general admission process, and how to make your résumé and essays stand out from the crowd.
