Throughout the year, CPLS brings a select group of members to visit prestigious law firms like White & Case and Kirkland. These visits allows members to learn more about the work and culture of the firms, as well as the personal stories of the firm's partners. Additionally, CPLS will begin offering law school visits beginning in the 206-27 academic year.
Résumé & Cover Letter Workshops
Learning how to write a stand-out résumé and cover letter can mean a world of difference when applying for internships and jobs. CPLS's workshops will help you understand industry practices and formalities when creating an effective résumé and drafting a professional cover letter.
Coffee Chats & Cold Emailing Workshops
CPLS's Cold Emailing and Coffee Chat Workshop will teach members how to reach out to attorneys, alumni, and other legal professionals with confidence and professionalism. Members will learn how to craft compelling cold emails, prepare thoughtful questions for informational interviews, and turn casual coffee chats into meaningful networking connections.
